Andrea Corr
Andrea Jane Corr (MBE) is an Irish singer, songwriter as well as a musician and actor. Corr made her debut in the year 1990 as singer-songwriter for the Celtic pop and rock group The Corrs with Caroline Sharon Jim as well as their three elder siblings. Andrea Corr, an Irish singer, musician and songwriter is one of the Corrs. She was awarded an award called the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire award in 2005 and is well known as a member of the Celtic pop and rock group The Corrs. As the lead vocalist and multi-instrumentalist of The Corrs, she is also their leader. Andrea began her acting career at the age of 21 in. Since she began, Andrea has developed into a gifted musician and stage actor. She sang in the playback of Warner Bros.' 1998 animated feature film The Quest for Camelot. She has six studio albums, two compilation albums two live albums, and a remix album under her belt, Andrea has truly established herself as a multi-faceted artist. Andrea has received awards by her charity work as well. Andrea along with her husband who is a stockbroker have two children. Andrea's first lesson in music was to master the Tin Horn. Gerry taught her to play piano. Andrea is a Ukulele player. The teenage years were spent honing her skills. She worked with siblings and brothers to be the lead singer of the group. Andrea was a part of many shows at Dun Lughaidh Convent.
